Mar 24 2011

Graham Group Ltd. was recently awarded an important contract to construct the CDN$19 million Whitemud Drive and 17th Street Interchange in the city of Edmonton. The project consists of a wide single-span bridge and re-construction of the interchange. Graham will also build required Mechanically Stabilized Earth walls with their own forces and equipment. The highly anticipated project will complete a major commuter freeway, providing traffic light-free access from the east to the far west-end of the city. Construction work has already begun and is scheduled for completion in fall 2012.

The Whitemud Drive and 17th Street Interchange contract is just the latest in a series of Edmonton highway-related awards. Late last summer, Graham was also awarded the CDN$24 million Cameron Heights Interchange. Construction on the interchange is well underway and is scheduled for completion in fall 2011.
