Crane (formerly known as 1518 Dravus) is a seven-story, 31,900 sq. ft. V over two mixed-use apartment building that has 38 units along with 19 parking stalls. There is an amenity room and a roof top deck with BBQs and a fire pit. This project is targeting LEED Gold and some of the sustainability features include a green roof, solar panels, and electric car charging stations. This brownfield site housed a former gas station which required remediation to remove the contaminated soils. Located on a tight site in Interbay, power lines are within 15’ of the property lines on all sides. Our construction approach began with early communication with City of Seattle utilities to ensure proper protection for the site.
