Fired Up to Build the Frye Apartments
Graham’s Seattle team was recently awarded the highly sought-after 707 Terry, The Frye Apartments, valued at USD$170 million. The twin apartment towers will be built east of Seattle’s downtown core in the First Hill neighborhood.
The two 34-story concrete residential towers will house 486 residential units and include an additional level of rooftop amenities. The towers will also be connected by a skybridge and will raise up at outward leaning angles from each other. Both towers will sit on top of a three-story concrete podium containing 5,200 sq. ft. of additional apartments, 8,000 sq. ft. of ground floor retail, restaurant and lobby areas. There will be six levels of below-grade parking with 323 parking stalls and 124 bicycle parking spaces.
This LEED Silver project is set to begin shortly with occupancy anticipated in Spring 2021. Once completed, this new structure will bring a high influx of residents to an underutilized neighborhood and will add considerable value to a variety of local community services.
