Graham Awarded Integrated Project Delivery Contract at St. Jerome’s University
Graham was recently awarded the CDN$47 million St. Jerome’s University Campus Renewal Project, located in Waterloo, Ontario. The project will be executed using an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) model – the first-ever higher education facility in Canada to be executed using an IPD model of delivery. It is also Graham’s second IPD project overall. Graham’s scope of work includes design and construction of a new 360-bed student residence, a new Academic Centre, plus expansions and renovations to several areas of the campus.
The IPD method of project delivery is a collaborative alliance of people, systems, business structures and practices into a process that harnesses the talents and insights of all participants to optimize project results, increase value to the owner, reduce waste, and maximize efficiency through all phases of design, fabrication, and construction.
The IPD Team includes Graham partnering with Diamond Schmitt Architects, Read Jones Christoffersen Consulting Engineers, MCW Consultants, Ghafari Associates, Ozz Electric, and Urban Mechanical.
