Graham, as part of consortium, Mountain View Partners, is proud to be recognized with the Gold Medal Award for Financing – for the Southwest Calgary Ring Road – by The Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships. Mountain View Partners includes: Graham Capital Partners LP, as developer, and Connor, Clark, & Lunn GVest Traditional Infrastructure LP, Meridiam Infrastructure North America Corporation, Kiewit Canada Development Corp., and Ledcor Industries Inc. as equity investors, design-build contractors Graham Infrastructure LP, Kiewit Management Co., and Ledcor CMI Ltd. with lead designer, Parsons Inc. and operations and maintenance contractor Alberta Highway Services Ltd.

Since its inception in 1998, the annual Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships (CCPPP) awards recognizes the exceptional leadership and innovative thinking that distinguishes the Canadian P3 model.
This year, there were more than 240 P3 projects in Canada. The Southwest Calgary Ring Road project was one of five projects that, according to CCPPP, “rose to the level of distinction as the 2016 recipients of the CCPPP National Awards – honoured and acknowledged for demonstrating exceptional innovation and a standard of excellence in public-private partnerships.”
The Calgary, Alberta-based $1.5 billion infrastructure project consists of approximately 31 km (20 mi.) of a six and eight-lane divided freeway, plus additional basic and auxiliary lanes, and includes: 14 interchanges; river crossing structures at the Elbow River; a creek crossing structure at Fish Creek; a culvert at Cullen Creek; three waterway realignments; and additional pre-grading for future interchanges.
Construction commenced in Summer 2016, with completion anticipated for Fall 2021.
