Graham Recognized with Premier’s Award for Excellence in the Public Service
The Regina Bypass Project team has been selected to receive the 2018 Premier’s Award for Excellence in the Public Service.
Established in 2003, this award is presented to members of Saskatchewan’s public service who have made outstanding on-the-job contributions to the government and citizens of the province. The Regina Bypass team – including Graham, Parsons Canada Ltd., Carmacks Enterprises and Vinci Canada – was the first ever transport infrastructure project that used the P3 delivery model.
“This project has demonstrated our strong presence in the province and being recognized with this award speaks to Graham’s effective collaboration required to deliver a P3 project,” said Andy Trewick, Senior Vice President of Infrastructure.
This is a significant project, not only for Graham but also for the city of Regina. The new roadway links Highway 1 and Highway 11 which improves traffic mobility by reducing congestion on main routes. The Trans-Canada Highway spans the entire continent and plays an important role in the distribution of goods across Canada and the United States. Construction of this integral North American route is just another way Graham helps to build better – and safer – communities.
This award is handed out to three to six individuals or team recipients per year. The project team including the client, Government of Saskatchewan, will proudly accept the award on Thursday, November 22, 2018.
