Project Announcement - Lumsden Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades
Graham was recently awarded the project to complete upgrades to the Town of Lumsden's Wastewater Treatment Plant in Saskatchewan!
This bid-build project consists of construction of a new wastewater treatment plant housing two sequencing batch bioreactors with associated process and electrical systems, construction of a new headworks building complete with a vortex grit removal and dewatering system, new deep sewage lift station complete with shoring and temporary by-pass pumping, construction of a new 250 mm diameter forcemain and new outfall piping and discharge header.
Currently, the Town of Lumsden runs on a lagoon system that is currently at capacity and unable to expand. Once completed, the project will position the community for growth.
Early works for site access began in Fall 2018. Construction is slated to start April 2019.
