A Rhapsody in Calgary’s University District


Graham is proud to serve as the general contractor for the CDN$127 million Rhaspody mixed-use development. Gracorp Capital, a subsidiary of Graham, is the developer and owner of the residential portion of the building. West Campus Development Trust will own the retail portion.

Graham has already mobilized to the site, with construction projected to take 33 months. Rhapsody will feature 288 rental apartments on five floors, with street front retail. Units will range from 529 sq. ft. to 1,149 sq. ft. The apartment complex will also include amenities such as a fully equipped fitness centre, games room, and landscaped outdoor courtyard with lounge areas, water feature, private grilling stations, and in supporting pet friendly rental units, also a dog run.

Rhapsody is located in the heart of Calgary’s University District; with direct access to the Foothills and Children’s Hospitals, the University of Calgary, and numerous shopping, dining and transit options. For more about the project and its amenities, visit https://rhapsodycalgary.ca/.

Similar to its other land development projects, Gracorp plans to sell the apartment building once the project is completed.
