After successfully delivering all 18 schools that made up the ASAP I project, Graham was awarded the contract for ASAP II, consisting of another 10 elementary and middle schools. All of the schools in this P3 project use a standard core design for essential amenities comprised of a gymnasium, library, administration offices, washrooms, classrooms and special teaching space for subjects such as music, art, science, and career and technology studies. High-performance modular classrooms, which are designed to look like permanent classrooms, surround the core building. These modular classrooms provide the school with flexibility to quickly respond to changing enrolment levels in the future. With a goal of LEED Silver certification, the schools are up to 45 per cent more energy efficient, have improved air quality and make use of natural light.
