Thsi project comprised of the construction of a new border crossing facility for the Pacific Region's busiest Port of Entry. Accordingly, ensuring security and traffic flow was a key project priority. Graham’s scope of work included construction of three new buildings: the Main Building housing Customs and Immigration; a Tertiary Inspection building; and a public washroom, complete with interconnecting walkways, canopies, and new inspection booths. This LEED Gold project was designed to incorporate many environmental friendly components including re-using the limestone cladding from the old facility before it was demolished.
