This project comprised a three-storey, 42-unit affordable seniors’ housing facility. The facility has a main floor composed of concrete suspended slab and a wood-framed structure for the remaining two floors. There is a combination of flat roofing and sloped asphalt shingle roofing, and the exterior is a combination of hardie board siding, vinyl siding, and cultured stone. In addition to the main facility, there is one level of underground parking, and Graham’s scope of work also included paved parking, landscaping, access ramps, and colored concrete sidewalk. Located directly along Richmond Road in South-West Calgary, this project had a constrained site and was in direct proximity to the Glamorgan community.
