This school construction project involved the demolition, renovation, and addition to an historic middle school . The scope included demolition of select areas of the school, renovation of 115,400 sq. ft., and the construction of a 12,630 sq. ft. gymnasium and a 15,000 sq. ft. play area plus associated site work. The project was completed on-schedule and won the 2011 Project Achievement Award from the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) Washington Chapter as well as a Northwest Constructions Best of 2010 award for best K-12 Education project.
