This project included the renovation of the existing arena while preserving its heritage roof, and the construction of a new Community Centre and Fire Hall. The new facility includes a gymnasium, walking track and Seniors’ Centre. The intent is to create a vibrant, welcoming complex where all users are welcome. The site is also being redeveloped to include a revised parking layout and enhanced park. The project is targeting LEED Silver certification.
