Graham executed a complete renovation, update and waterproofing to the unique University of Minnesota Civil Engineering Building, that has 95% of the building area below ground. This historic, award-winning concept design, with its lowest level 110 feet below grade, suffered from water infiltration problems and underwent a complete waterproofing and renovation. The building was originally designed as an experiment in environmental efficiency by locating the structure below ground with an effort to reduce energy consumption.
