South Surrey Operations Centre

Location: Surrey, British Columbia

This LEED Silver project included the construction of a two-storey administrative office and shop building to accommodate Engineering and Parks Operations departments. The building comprises office space, change rooms, amenity space and material and storage areas. Redevelopment of the site includes fleet vehicles and staff/visitor parking, refuse ramp, and drainage corridor with detention pond.

Graham’s scope of work also encompassed offsite works such as landscaping, sidewalks, pathways, new construction of 166th Street and reconstruction of two existing arterial roads (23rd and 24th Avenue), as well all utility services to the facility.

The establishment of the South Surrey Operations Centre was critical to improve customer service to the growing community in South Surrey, and to improve the productivity and efficiency of the Engineering and Parks Operation staff.
