The Cloverdale Sport & Ice Complex in Surrey, BC is a 95,000 sq. ft. community recreation facility designed to expand access to year-round sport and leisure activities. The arena supports a wide range of programming and provides flexible, multi-use spaces for residents of all ages.
Facility Overview
The facility features two NHL-sized ice sheets that also accommodate dry-floor uses such as lacrosse and ball hockey. Additional program areas include multipurpose community rooms, dressing rooms, meeting spaces, public washrooms, staff offices, and an open lobby with reception and skate-rental services. The arena also includes up to 400 spectator seats, a refrigeration plant, mechanical rooms, and server space.
Site Development
Site development work included a new roadway extension and associated underground utilities, on-site parking for approximately 200 vehicles, and landscaping integrated with adjacent park areas.
Project Delivery
Graham served as Construction Manager, providing design-assist and preconstruction services throughout the project lifecycle. Construction began in Summer 2022 and was completed on schedule and on budget. The facility was designed by TKA+D Architecture and RDHA Architects and constructed by Graham Construction & Engineering.

Recent projects include the Southeast Event Centre in Steinbach, Manitoba, and the Lake Country Co-op Leisure Centre in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Graham and Stantec have also been selected to deliver the Brantford Sports and Entertainment Centre in Ontario, and construction continues on the Cameron Community Centre and Library in Burnaby, BC.
