July 17, 2025

Graham Capital and Graham Construction are pleased to announce the groundbreaking of Aomega on 15th, a new continuing care facility located in Calgary’s vibrant Marda Loop community.

Developed in partnership with Aomega Group, Graham Capital and the Calgary Buildings team, this $25.5M project will deliver specialized complex care for a younger demographic of continuing care clients—those living with brain injuries, mental illness, Korsakoff disease, and early dementia. Unlike traditional seniors’ facilities, Aomega on 15th addresses a growing need for compassionate, tailored support for individuals facing these challenges earlier in life.

The five-storey, 40-bed facility designed by FarMor Architecture will provide a full range of services, including accommodation, meals, housekeeping, linen, and recreational programming. The design features four 10-resident households, blending the personalized feel of smaller care homes with the operational efficiency of a larger facility.

With Canada facing an unprecedented demand for continuing care beds due to an aging population and aging infrastructure, Graham is successfully delivering innovative solutions to help address these critical capacity challenges. Through our collaborative social infrastructure partnership model, we work closely with care providers to accelerate the delivery of high-quality, purpose-built facilities that meet the evolving needs of communities across the country.

Graham Capital is serving as developer, financial advisor, and—for the first time under this model—an equity stakeholder. Graham Construction is acting as Construction Manager. This marks the second social infrastructure partnership between Graham Capital and Graham Construction.

Construction is now underway, with completion expected in January 2027.

This project exemplifies Graham’s collaborative, solutions-focused approach to construction and development—working in partnership with Aomega Group for more than two years to bring their vision to life and create a facility that will make a lasting impact on the community it serves.

Graham Capital is a project development and financing division of Graham Group.
