February 7, 2025

Calgary, AB – Building on our strong history with the City of Calgary, Graham is excited to announce the award and our role of Construction Manager on the Fish Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Upgrades in Calgary, AB.

The Fish Creek WWTP is one of three wastewater treatment facilities in Calgary and requires upgrades to meet regulatory requirements and increase the treatment capacity to serve a growing population.

The project will see upgrades to the entire treatment process at the Fish Creek WWTP and include the conversion of the existing secondary treatment process to Biological Nutrient Removal with the construction of two new bioreactors trains, modifications to the six existing secondary clarifiers, a new headworks facility, upgrades to the existing primary treatment clarifiers, upgrades to the existing four digesters, a new digested sludge storage tank, waste activated sludge thickening facilities, sludge fermenters, sludge blending, upgrades to the existing UV facility, as well as a new Operations, Maintenance and Administration Facility with electrical upgrades to provide expanded power supply.

This project builds upon our decades long relationship with the City of Calgary within their water and wastewater treatment plants and positions Graham to continue building upon that success within the wastewater industry.
