Graham is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the Spruce Grove Composite High School replacement project, a significant investment in modern education for one of Alberta’s fastest-growing regions.
Project Overview
Awarded by the Alberta government, Graham will serve as General Contractor for the replacement of the existing Spruce Grove Composite High School. The project includes the demolition of the current facility and the construction of a new 175,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art school designed to increase student capacity for Grades 10–12.
Located just west of Edmonton, Spruce Grove is Alberta’s ninth-largest city. The new school will help meet the needs of this vibrant and growing community, which is adjacent to Stony Plain and surrounded by Parkland County.
A Modern Learning Environment
Targeting LEED Silver certification, the new facility has been designed with future-focused learning in mind. It will feature collaborative classrooms, performing arts and Career and Technology Studies (CTS) spaces, inclusive support spaces, and modern common areas that benefit both students and the wider community. Built to the latest standards in accessibility, safety, and energy efficiency, the new school will provide a welcoming, sustainable environment that supports Parkland School Division’s vision for inclusive and high-performing education.
