Quincy Valley Medical Center (QVMC)

Location: Quincy Valley, WA

Project Overview

Quincy Valley Medical Center, located in Quincy, Washington, is a new two-storey, 48,700-square-foot healthcare facility designed to support a full spectrum of medical services for the surrounding community. Graham delivered the project through a dual role, serving as Construction Manager during preconstruction and General Contractor during construction. This continuity enabled a seamless transition from design through project closeout, supporting collaborative decision making, disciplined cost management, and efficient execution aligned with the Owner’s operational objectives.

Design and Delivery

Working alongside NAC Architecture, NAC Engineering, MW Engineers, Coffman Engineers, DCI Engineers, and SPVV Landscaping, Graham was part of an integrated project team that emphasized coordination and alignment across all phases of delivery. This collaborative approach ensured that design intent, construction execution, and long-term operational requirements were consistently integrated throughout the project.

Scope of Work and Facility Features

The facility delivers both inpatient and outpatient care, anchored by a 24/7 emergency department with helipad access to support rapid patient transport in critical situations. Clinical services include diagnostic imaging, physical therapy, clinic and wound care, all consolidated within a single location to improve efficiency and accessibility.

In addition to clinical spaces, the medical center incorporates on-call suites, conference rooms, and patient-focused amenities such as a kitchen and dining area, supporting both staff operations and overall patient experience.

Integrated Care and Community Impact

The new Quincy Valley Medical Center replaces a legacy facility with modern infrastructure and updated medical equipment, advancing the delivery of rural healthcare in the region. Services that were previously distributed across multiple locations have been centralized, improving operational efficiency and simplifying access for patients.

Rooted in a long-standing, community-driven commitment to local healthcare, the facility strengthens continuity of care while reducing reliance on regional hospitals. By bringing expanded capabilities closer to home, the project supports a more resilient healthcare system designed to meet the evolving needs of the Quincy community.
