Graham has been awarded the Elevated Guideway at 114 Avenue and Barlow Trail S.E. as General Contractor, continuing its work with The City of Calgary on the Green Line LRT program.
Advancing Calgary’s Green Line
A key component of Calgary’s future Green Line, the Elevated Guideway will carry light rail trains over the busy intersection at 114 Avenue and Barlow Trail S.E., supporting efficient transit operations in southeast Calgary.
The project includes approximately 570 metres of elevated guideway, with construction and installation of piers, girders and a bridge deck. The scope also includes supporting earthworks, drainage improvements, grading and retaining walls.

Building on Previous Site Work
The award builds on work completed by Graham at the site over the past year, including the installation of 22 piles and several road reconfigurations. This existing project knowledge and established site presence will support the next phase of construction.
Construction began in July 2026, with the completion date to be determined.

Supporting Calgary’s Transportation Network
Once complete, the Elevated Guideway will form an important part of the Green Line and contribute to a more connected and accessible transportation network in Calgary as the city continues to grow.
