Graham Leading the Pack as a Safety Leader in Construction

September 15, 2026

Mike Court, Senior Vice President, HSEQ and Sustainability, has been named one of four recipients of the National Safety Council’s 2026 Distinguished Service to Safety Award.

This award is the council’s highest individual recognition for outstanding contributions to advancing safety and injury prevention. Since it was first presented in 1942, the Distinguished Service to Safety Award has celebrated safety leaders whose work has had a sustained impact at the local, national or international level.

For Mike, this recognition reflects years of dedicated leadership in advancing workplace safety, not only at Graham but across the broader Canadian construction industry. His approach has focused on raising expectations, using evidence-driven solutions and championing practical improvements that help make worksites safer for everyone.

Mike was recognized alongside three other safety leaders during the 2026 NSC Safety Congress & Expo in Indianapolis, where recipients were celebrated for their meaningful contributions to preventing injuries and deaths on the job.

Congratulations, Mike. This well-deserved honour represents your continued leadership in helping make Graham and our industry safer.
