Long-Term Care and Long-Term Value

January 13, 2021

Graham is excited to announce we have signed a Letter of Intent partnering with Sherwood Care in the development of 254 long-term care beds and a residential facility, creating a continuum of care at their existing site in Sherwood Park, Alberta (east of Edmonton). Sherwood Care has been operating for over 50 years in the Edmonton Region and is recognized as one of the premier operators of senior’s care. We are pleased to work alongside the design team, S2 Architecture, to deliver this development.

Drawing on expertise from both our development and investment division and in buildings construction, we demonstrated a clear benefit of our integrated approach comprising of project development, real estate, project finance, and construction solutions. Collectively, this set of services provides Sherwood Care with a comprehensive and unique solution, ensuring they will maximize value in this development.

Our team will support Sherwood Care in completing their application to the Government of Alberta for significant grant funding and will match that with other forms of finance by developing an innovative structured finance approach to get this project off the ground and into construction by mid-2021.

This project serves as another testament to the value of our integrated services and our ability to provide creative, and value-added, solutions for our clients.
