New Clubhouse for One of Calgary’s Longest Standing Golf Courses

March 11, 2024

We’re excited to share that Graham has secured the Clubhouse Redevelopment project at the Winston Golf Club in Calgary, AB. Graham will be overseeing construction management services, having partnered with FWBA for the conceptual design.

Built in 1923, the Winston stands as one of Calgary’s oldest golf courses. The new clubhouse aims to revitalize the space, catering to existing members while also offering much-needed event facilities to attract new membership.

This unique project involves salvaging a portion of the existing building and adding new facilities, including a restaurant, administration area, locker rooms, and pro shop. The proposed conceptual design features a spacious central atrium, visible from all points of the golf course. This multi-functional space will act as a pre-function area for both the modernized banquet hall and the new restaurant, conveniently located next to the commercial kitchen. It will serve as the main entry point from the parking lot, leading guests down to the pro shop and cart storage areas on the east side of the course.

The restaurant is designed to offer breathtaking views of the eastern landscape through expansive wrap-around windows, enhancing the overall experience for visitors.

We look forward to bringing this vision to life and creating an exceptional clubhouse experience for all.
