HGST Yerba Buena Tool Relocation

The HGST Yerba Buena Tool Relocation involved moving research and development tools, equipment and supporting laboratories from a satellite facility to the company’s main South San Jose campus, now part of Western Digital.

The scope included safe-off, packaging, transport, installation, fit-up and commissioning of specialized tools and equipment. Approximately 25,000 sq. ft. of laboratory and cleanroom space was also constructed across several existing buildings to accommodate the relocated equipment.

The work was completed within an accelerated schedule.
