Graham is pleased to announce the completion and grand opening of the Residence Inn by Marriott Seattle Northgate Station, a modern 167-suite hotel located in North Seattle. Developed by Simon Property Group, designed by DLR Group and constructed by Graham Construction, this hotel is the first completed project in the transformative redevelopment of Northgate Station, a premier mixed-use, transit-oriented development in Seattle’s Northgate neighborhood.
The hotel is a six-story, 124,000-square-foot building designed to offer guests a combination of comfort, convenience, and sophistication. Each guest suite features a full kitchen, workstation, and modern amenities ideal for extended stays. Additional amenities include an indoor pool, a 24-hour fitness center, and a stylish lounge. The facility incorporates modern, energy-efficient systems to promote environmental responsibility and enhance guest comfort.
The building’s design employs conventional structural steel, structural concrete, and structural steel stud wall systems. Due to space constraints posed by the structural studs, as well as the complexity of the electrical and mechanical systems, the project team meticulously modeled each component down to the individual studs. This proactive approach enabled the prefabrication of steel stud walls and other critical systems, significantly contributing to maintaining the project’s schedule.
